Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB) helps maintain academic integrity during online tests. Then using RLDB, you can’t print, copy, access other programs, or browse the internet while taking the quiz or test.

This guide shows you how to access and complete a practice quiz in the Student Induction space, so you’re fully prepared before taking an assessment that requires RLDB.

Download RLDB

Before taking the practice quiz, download and install Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB)

• Visit Download Respondus LockDown Browser (RLDB) , by Respondus.
• Click Download, and follow the instructions

Troubleshooting - Closing the browser

If any technical issue occurs, you may need to close the browser and restart the quiz.

1. Open more information
    
   • Windows computers: Click the Information icon. 
     
   • Mac computers:Click the Globe icon
     
2.  The teacher will then enter a password and close the LockDown Browser for you.
3. The quiz can then be restarted and continued from where it was last saved.

Can I take a Test or Quiz on an iPad?

You can only take a Test or Quiz on an iPad, if your teacher has said you can do so. If you are uncertain, please ask your teacher.
